“AZFEN” Joint Venture (J.V.) was established in 1996 to perform high-quality construction and engineering services in the oil industry, including the construction of pipelines, platforms and terminals for large-scale oil projects, for example, construction of the platforms for Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli and Shah Deniz Phase II, construction of the South Caucasus Pipeline, replacement of the Western Route Export Pipeline and various subcontract work in the Ethylene-Polyethylene Plant of Azerikimya Production Union. AZFEN J.V. has an ongoing contract with AIOC related to fabrication and integration of topsides and drilling facilities for the Azeri Central East (ACE) oil platform. A Spanish company Tecnicas Reunidas engaged AZFEN J.V. as a subcontractor for the modernisation and reconstruction of the Heydar Aliyev Oil Refinery.
