AZLAB LLC is a joint venture established in 1996. The main business activities of the company include analysis of core sample, oil and gas samples from different exploration and development wells on the Caspian and carrying out extensive geochemical analysis and PVT experiments, and preparing lithographic and biostratigraphic logs for the wells.
AZLAB LLC has been monitoring the quantity and quality of oil extracted from the Gunashli and Oil Rocks fields, the largest oil reserves in Azerbaijan, at the Dubandi terminal since 2005, and petrol and diesel at all SOCAR terminals throughout the country since 2013 in accordance with international standards. The company focuses on the health and safety of employees, quality management and the environment, and has been awarded international certificates ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001-2004, OHSAS 18001:2007, ISO/IEC 17025.
SOCAR, BP, Equinor, Total, Lukoil, EXXON, Conoco Phillips, Karasu, Shirvan Oil, Binaqadi Oil, Bahar Energy OC, Umid Babek OC, etc., are among AZLAB LLC’s partners. Moreover, the company’s performance has received recognition from companies based in Georgia, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Ukraine, and they are actively using the opportunities provided by the research centre.
