Ecol Engineering Services CSJC was established in 2006 with the purpose of carrying out environmental protection projects within and outside the country by applying modern technology.

Ekol Engineering Services CJSC’s key activities:

  • Complex environmental monitoring;
  • Comprehensive laboratory services;
  • GIS (Geographic Information System) services;
  • Environmental Impact Assessment;
  • Development of ecological regulatory documents;
  • Consulting services on waste management;
  • Accountability for produced water management;
  • Environmental inspection of vehicles;
  • Atmospheric emissions inventory and instrumental measurement services;
  • Biodiversity protection, greenery control and specialist services, including landscape design works;
  • Classification of pollution levels of oil-contaminated soils and related report preparation services;
  • Preparation of reports submitted to international organizations on SOCAR's activities related to international environmental conventions;
  • Analysis and reporting services of global innovative technologies in the field of environmental protection in the priority areas of SOCAR;
  • Specialist services in the implementation of energy efficiency projects;
  • Monitoring of oil spill cases and organization of response measures against these cases;
  • Education, consulting, and training services;
  • Execution of environmental tasks under State Programmes, as well as in working groups under the Government;
  • Environmental report of SOCAR – EPI, Study and evaluation of impacts on climate changes;
  • Conducting environmental education and promotion events, etc.

In 2009, Ecol Engineering Services CJSC and the Dutch company AA Services founded a joint venture, AAS-EKOL LLC, which was registered in 2010 and started operating in the field of waste management.

Ecol Engineering Services CJSC provides environmental services to the Heydar Aliyev Oil Refinery, Azneft PA’s Gas Processing Plant and the Waste Management Centre under the Department of Environmental Protection.
