SOCAR AQS LLC was established in 2007 as an integrated drilling and well services management company. SOCAR AQS provides oil and gas well engineering and drilling, cementing, workover, reinforcement, geophysical assessment and perforation services.
SOCAR AQS LLC is currently performing drilling work in the Caspian Sea, including the Shallow Water Gunashli, West Absheron, Umid and Bulla-Deniz fields. The company successfully implements drilling work of 40 wells in Türkiye in the framework of the Expansion of Tuz Golu underground gas storage project.
Turan Drilling and Engineering Company LLC, which is the joint venture of SOCAR-AQS LLC and KCA Deutag, had signed two major contracts with BP for the operation, maintenance and supply chain services of seven platform drilling rigs operated in the Caspian Sea.
SOCAR AQS LLC has been a contractor member of IADC since 2009. It is certified as meeting the requirements of ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 international standards for drilling and repair of offshore oil and gas wells, running, repair and testing of well equipment.
SOCAR-AQS LLC is the first and the only company in the region to have the API Spec Q2 Certificate. The company was announced as UN Global Compact LEAD in September 2019.
