IMPORTANT
In the test exams, the closed-ended questions allow respondents to choose 1 right answer among multiple (5) options (single-choice questions - 1/5) or 3 out of 7 answer options (multiple-choice questions - 3/7). In the multiple-choice questions (3/7), all the correct answer options must be appropriately ticked off.
You can get single-choice (1/5) or multiple-choice (3/7) questions for the vacancy you are applying for in the Tests Section.
Assessment of test results - We evaluate the result of the test by applying the point system. We evaluate each of the test questions that you answered correctly with 1 point, and each of the test questions that you answered incorrectly or did not answer at all with 0 point. Note that the test items you answer incorrectly do not affect your overall result.
Minimum passing score for test blocks is the minimum passing score determined for each of the test blocks presented in the test exam. In order to get the minimum passing score for each test block, you must correctly answer the number of test questions according to the percentage value indicated below for the test blocks:
Qualification (vacancy-related qualification criteria and HSE) - at least 30 %;
IQ tests - at least 20 %;
Azerbaijan and SOCAR’s field of activity - at least 20 %;
Computer literacy - at least 20 %
Note that if you fail to get the minimum passing score for any of the test blocks, you will not pass to the next stage, regardless of whether you get the final passing score determined for that test.
The final passing score for the test exam is an indicator equal to the score of the candidate who obtained the lowest score among the candidates who successfully passed the relevant exam. According to the plan, we identify the candidates who have successfully passed the exam from top to bottom (by rating) based on their points. Note that the final passing score depends on the exam results and plan locations.
A candidate who has successfully passed the test exam - you are considered to have successfully passed the test if you have obtained the final passing score determined for the test exam and a higher result. Note that if your total score is the same as the score of other candidates, the candidate who scored the highest score on the test block with priority is considered to have successfully passed the test.
The order of priority is taken as the Qualification, IQ, Azerbaijan and SOCAR's field of activity and Computer literacy blocks.
IMPORTANT
Each candidate is allowed to take the test by presenting the original of the identity document (unexpired identity card, military ID, foreign passport, driver's license) before the validity period expires.
